Black-tailed Skimmer?

I think this is a Black-tailed Skimmer, but as I've never (knowingly) seen one before I thought I better check. I saw it near Little Brickhill, Bucks., today.

Yes, a female Black-tailed Skimmer. This species loves bare ground by still water to bask.

As usual it was just something I came across on one of my long walks in the country. It was in the middle of a footpath through a bean field, the path being the nearest thing to bare ground around, and there were two small ponds a little distance away.
