Green-eyed bee mimic for ID pls
This in the garden this morning (annoyed to have me sitting watching). I'm sure I've seen a picture of one somewhere, to get the name, but I can't find it. Help pls!

Anthophora bimaculata - certainly not an Osmia. Very nice photo.

Well thanks for steering me away from mimics Janet - and thanks Matt for the answer! I've been trying on and off all day to get more shots, but they mostly go at a ridiculous rate of knots - which is why I assumed a mimic. Doh!
