| | | Help ID please This chap (chapess?) found in hollow log, head is red/brown, body black. Think it might be brown lacewing. For ref container holding it is 70mm long.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

It's a species of Brown Lacewing, family Hemerobiidae. Usually identification requires a very good look at the wing venation to identify it to species-level. Maybe the markings could help too.
