| | [ID] Damselfly Evening all,
I found this on an otherwise fruitless trip for inverts - started too late, I suppose. To my eyes, I'm thinking of a White-legged Damselfly colour-wise, but I'm not too good with these Odonatas - all too variable! It landed too far away for a good side-shot; as I stepped forward to get a closer photo the long grass flattened down in front of me and jogged the blade he was on and off he went! 24/06/2010 White-legged Damselfly?
Thanks for looking.
Take care, Jason |
