| | | A variety for ID please! Hi, is this a nymph of Sehiris luctuosus or Eysarcoris venustissimus or have I got it totally wrong?!
This is, I believe, the Dock bug (Coreus marginatus). I hoped it was a box bug at first, but am sure it's not...
I have no idea what this is, it caught my eye as it looked like a tiny strawberry creeping about! 
This is a grasshopper (clever, aren't I?) but i don't know which as they all look the same to my untrained eye!

| | | Re: A variety for ID please! 1 is Eurygaster sps, probably testudinaria as that is most common. The early instar nymphs look nothing like the later instars (just to confuse us)
2 is as you say, Coreus marginatus
3 i only know as a red spider mite, I'm sure others can be more precise.
4, Could be Chorthippus brunneus but from that angle I really cant be sure.
Glad to see someone exploring there world and enjoying it!
