Robberfly prey?
Hi,

I'm fairly confident that this robber from this afternoon is a female Leptarthrus brevirostris but can anyone tell what she was having for her lunch?

Evening Steve,

The wing venation of the prey item looks very hymenopteran-ish, and the brightly-coloured hair-free legs make me think along the lines of an Ichneumon wasp...

You could well be right there Jason. I hadn't thought of ichneumons don't generally see them from this angle.
