I'm not an expert, and I'm sure someone will confirm for you, but I just had to say, what superb photographs. The second one should be worthy of a prize. Brilliant colour and clarity, and a truly magic moment.

You have a male Common Blue Damselfly on an ovipositing (thus female) Emperor. I've seen similar photos before- perhaps the damsel is being territorial, but had better watch out or may be a tasty snack for the Emperor!
