| | | Leaf & seed beetle key There is a draft key for British Chrysomelidae, Bruchidae, Orsodacnidae and Megalopodidae by Dave Hubble at FSC Publications - Seed and Leaf Beetles of the British Isles
May be of interest to keen potential coleopterists! |

| | | Re: Leaf & seed beetle key Afternoon Paul,
I've collected a couple of Chrysomelids, so will try the key out later when I have more time - thanks for the heads-up.
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: Leaf & seed beetle key Same here. I've downloaded the key so I will try to see if I can sort out some of my unidentified files. Including a big bright green specimen yesterday. I'm guessing at Cryptocephalus hypochaeridis so it will be interesting to see what the key suggests.
And thanks for the information. |

| | | Re: Leaf & seed beetle key brilliant - much appreciated Paul.
C. hypochaeridis and C. aureolus can be difficult to separate. |

| | | Re: Leaf & seed beetle key Glad to see folks trying them. There'll be a lot of comment and criticism, obviously, from experienced coleopterists but we shouldn't forget that the AIDGAP keys are aimed at amateurs and beginners so constructive comments should be welcome from anyone who has tried to use the keys seriously. |

| | | Re: Leaf & seed beetle key Typical! The Chrysomelid I have is the Alticin-type, which I can't see included
I'll look for an apparently non-descript Chrysomelid tomorrow if poss. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
