Bee behaviour.
As I was crossing a ditch on a wooden bridge today, I saw this bee on top of one of the posts. It appeared to be probing a crack in the wood. I didn't budge when I got close to it, although it flinched a little when I blew gently, but continued to do whatever it was doing.

What do you think?

Bees quite often temporarily conk out and need a rest or sometimes they stop to have a clean and brush up.
