Less than one centimetre long, on a Dog Rose.

Try Thick-legged Flower Beetle, Oedemera nobilis

It's like a rugby player with those thighs isn't it? I took a few of these this afternoon, some with thin thighs.

Are they male and female perhaps?

Morning all,

Yes, big thighs (or swollen femora!) = male, thin thighs = female. Also look out for the duller, sage-green and slightly smaller Oedemera lurida/flavescens...
