The insect is a female Gasteruption assectator, a wasp species that lays its eggs inside brood cells of stem dwelling hymenoptera

Completely new to me: thank you for the ID. Thought it was carrying another insect until I blew the photo up, still can't make out what it was. Did notice thwe ovipositor though!
