Grasshopper for ID if poss

There seemed to be quite a few of these yesterday, lowish sounding, in grass near a boggy bit above the beach - and looking through pics I wondered if Common Green or Stripe-winged? I can't see any hairs on the thorax, but perhaps that doesn't count for much? Wld be very grateful for a steer.

I would say Common Green. The pronotal keels look too divergent for Meadow to me.

Crossed my mind but doesnt seem right for a common green, closer to meadow, esp. with those black knees. Would be unusual colouring for a C. green but spot on for a meadow.

Thank you asheleaf and aeshna 5. I think I thought the wings were too long for Meadow - but from what you say they don't always have very short ones? Dill

males usually have longer wings, occasionally females do to.
