Question Jewel wasp - macro (Chrysis sp.?)
I went to a committee meeting at the Dorset Wildlife Trust HQ today, and there in the kitchen was this Jewel wasp. I popped it into a glass and took some pics of it when I released it after the meeting.

Is it Chrysis sp. (due to toothed apex of abdomen)?

Absolutely beautiful wasp. Must be one of my favourites.

Thanks John and thanks for the ID confirmation. I was well chuffed to get a few decent shots of it. Up to this year I'd never seen one... now I've seen two in so many days!
