Your ladybird photos show a copulating pair of 7-spots + the final photo a succinea form of the Harlequin. |

How big was the first? If it exceeded or was almost 10-11mm I'd be happy to suggest Cantharis rustica - they can be quite big! The second looks like a Plantbug nymph ( Hemiptera; Miridae) - I think I can just see a rostrum. Next is another Mirid, and holsata Ashe suggests. The penultimate image is of mating Seven-spot Ladybirds.

For general advice, the subtle distinguishing features of Cantharis spp (indeed, many of the Cantharidae) are the legs - especially the hind ones - so always helpful to to try and get a pic with these. As Jason mentioned, size is often a big clue as well. Quote:
