Osmia in a snail shell?
Not much bee showing for id here, I'm afraid, but it showed interesting behaviour. Zoomed in out of nowhere, straight inside this empty snail shell where it remained for about 30 seconds before exiting as quickly as it had arrived.
Subsequent web-searching leads me to think it is a species of Osmia ? Any thoughts on that very welcome..

Osmia aurulenta, Osmia bicolor, Hoplitis - all of these use snail shells.
