There shouldn't be any white on the lower sides of the thorax, it should be black - your individual has it going right up to the head down there apparently. As far as I know hypnorum should be considered more ' moderate' in size too, and this year I've seen a few fairly small Bombus pascuorum - which I have a feeling yours might be.
