could someone id these please?
i think this is a harlequin ladybird larva, but i'm not 100% sure
is this one the same or a different species?
and finally any ideas about this fly?

Yes, I agree with Jason ( no name-based loyalties, honest!  ) that the second larva is indeed that of the Two-spot - in the Seven-spot the orange markings nearest the tail-end are at the sides.
Additionally the head of the afore-mentioned larva is partially orange as opposed to a pale grey as we have here.
