Damselfly unfurling?
Hi. Is this a damselfly or dragonfly just hatched and unfurling itself? I found it late one afternoon this week near our local stream hiding under a leaf.

Very weird looking. Thanks. Jane

That's a Mayfly - look to the three tails (though some have just two). Good image

Thanks Lance and Jason. I didn't realise it was the "shuck" skin... fascinating. No wonder it didn't move much when I photographed it!
