Have no idea what sort of fly this is but I was impressed by it's irridescent green head and hairy legs. Looks a bit like a predator.
Can anyone help with identification please? |

| | | Re: Mystery green headed fly It has yellow femora and black lower occipital bristles. It also looks like the front tarsus has a dilated apical joint which would make it (I think, without refering to my key) Dolichopus brevipennis. |
