The first part of your question is easy. No, it isn't possible to positively identify any Nomada species from a photograph.
However it is possible to have an educated guess. Or in my case, a wild stab in the dark!
And if you do get a positive answer for this specimen please let me know as I have an identical photo for identification.
I was considering N. ruficornis but, so far, I am reluctant to commit myself. N. flavoguttata is a bit similar but smaller. |

Under certain circumstances, it is possible to determine Nomada BUT this one is not going to be one of them. It COULD be N. flava, but the difficulty in separating this species from N. panzeri and several other close congeners makes the task impossible I'm afraid |
