| | Blue Damselflies
Having posted this in the Gallery as a Common Blue I know I have made a mistake but can't now decide between an Azure and a Variable. All advice would be most welcome.

| | | Re: Blue Damselflies Cheers Jason I would tend to agree with you, but have recently been tripped up by the 'variability' of the distinguishing features of the 'blue' group, especially with regard to the antehumeral stripes of the Variable.

The whisky tumbler on S2 on male, lack of bar between post-ocular spots on both male and female, only 1/2 of S6 black on the male all indicate Azure. |
