Question Please help identify this beetle
Following the really quick and helpful reply to my mystery spider picture, I thought I'd see if anyone can help me properly identify this beetle found on Hengistbury Head beach, picture below

It looks like Cantharis rustica to me; but there are several rather similar species and I'm no expert when it comes to beetles.
