| | | Hairy black ladybird et al anyone recognise this little chap. Found on a shingle bank. Shoreham-by-Sea, west Sussex. Not sure which particular plant it was swept from.
a couple more beetles found at the same location if anyone has any thoughts. thanks

I can't help with the others, but the Ladybird could be a Scymnus sp.

Ashe | I'd also go for Scymnus schmidti although wouldn't like to rule out S. femoralis from a photo. Both are inhabitants of dry, sandy areas. S. schmidti is more common (a good reason to opt for it  ) but is also flatter, less domed, as this seems to be |
