| | [ID, pinned] Which orange Osmia sp.? Evening all,
I caught this earlier on today, on Herb Robert. Which Osmia-type species is this one? 04/06/2010 Dorsal, lateral, anterior with mandibles (bifid-type, longest apical tooth to our left), central left tibia and wing Length: c10.5mm
A microscopic examination revealed the bronzish body to be punctate all over with an occasional faint emerald green sheen on occasion, and the thorax to be grooved centrally from the head up to the mid-way line.
Thanks for looking
Take care, Jason | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
