As good as these images are, do you have any other top-down angles? I'd like to see the wing venation - in particular a cross-vein.

| | | Re: Any midge experts? The front tarsi are shorter than the tarsus and it lacks the M-cu crossvein so I would go for the Orthocladiinae sub-family. Species-level identifications are reliant on microscopic scrutiny of males, a key was recently re-published - at £53! |
