stripey bug id please


found this critter in my greenhouse, about 1 inch long tail to anteenae tip, any ideas please on identity.

Morning Mr. B,

It's an Ichneumon Wasp, family Ichneumonidae. The first stage of ID starts with an examination of wing venation, then on to subtle features so a photo-based ID seems unlikely in this case.

Still, a fantastic-looking insect all the same
