| | | Advice needed about Flies. I am getting more and more interested in Flies but I am really hopeless at identifying them. Is there a resource on the web that will explain the differences between Hoverfly, Dancefly, Robberfly ect. When I take a photograph of a fly I don’t know where to start looking. At the moment it takes me hours to search through many different forums to find a photograph that looks like mine. I am at the point of giving up on fly photography although I would really like to learn more.
I use Lightroom to catalogue my images and they all have keywords but I would like to split them up into Families or Species and then attach sub keywords to the flies in each category. So can anyone suggest the best way to organise my fly images.
