| | | Mason bee ID - Osmia sp. Found this small mason bee about 7mm body length today feeling cold on a windowsill. Assume it's an Osmia sp. perhaps Osmia caerulescens. After taking some photographs I managed to persaude it to walk onto my fingers and it flew off after a couple of mins warming up
Any ID confirmation ?
Thanks
Brian v.

| | | Re: Mason bee ID - Osmia sp. Thanks for the comfirmation eucera . Not seen one of these so immobilised by cold (just lack of sun) before but guess all of the smaller bees are like this.
