| | | Bees in steps to my lawn For the past few weeks I have observed a bee flying in and out of a small hole underneath some steps leading up to my lawn. It always appeared to be one bee. I thought it may have found a cubby hole in all the cold weather and kept returning.
Last night I counted 7 bees in an hour entering this hole. Not stopping on any of the flowers nor interested in anything else in the garden, just over the roof, down and into the hole
Now I know bees are in decline and I dont want to get rid of any type of harmless bee that is actually doing some good. Any idea what type of bees these are. Do I have a potential problem brewing if I do nothing? |

This is quite interesting! I would love to see a pic of the bees in question so that i can try to identify them, and then give you some information. There could be any of several possiblilities here, but to give any useful advice, I shall need to know what the bees are!
Best wishes
Stuart
ps.. could you also let us know where you are - that might also be of some help |

The bees in question seem so intent on getting to the entrance, they never deviate to inspect anything else in the garden | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
