Question Unidentified Flying Bug... :-(
Hi!

I've just registered on this site following a link from a friend...

This evening, I was outside, and found myself confronted by the attached bug...

I have absolutely no clue where it appeared from... But it was swifly joined by another 2...

Anyone able to help identify it? As I am very curious about it now!

Hard to be certain, but it looks like you've found a cockchafer or 3. There are lots around at this time of year (an alternative name is May Bug) and they're attracted to light.

I think you're right in what you're saying, a few other people have mentioned a May Bug also!

Just came on to have help with an ID and the first thread I open has the insect that just flew into my house in it.
