Hi, please help me to identify this bug! I saw one on the wall outside my house the other day and have just had one fly in to my bedroom!

It is a Cockchafer, Melolontha melolontha. Lots around at the moment, hence the common name of May Bug.

I found a huuuge one of these in my garage a few days ago. (35mm long!!!) I wouldn't want one flying in my room!!
I carefully put it outside, and then saw it (or another one??) the next day.
They are very interesting arn't they (or is that just me lol).
The picture doesn't do them justice, seeing one upside down in the garage I thought it was a cockroach

There are lots of insects around May - June.
