It shows how the human mind works, and reminds me of threads where people have seen what are probably large black domestic cats, but want to believe that they've seen pumas.

Know exactly what you mean. Strangely enough, I'd had a pretty quiet but long day in the wildlife department - but then spotted this strange formation on a wild rose. Macro on!! After that stopped thinking logically and wanted a bizarre creature!!! Thanks for your response. There must be others out there who've been caught out. I wonder if they will tell us? |

| | | Re: strange creature Well to be honest, I looked at this last night and thought it must be a wind-up....new member an' all. Therefore, I didn't respond The give-away, I think, is the stick-like protuberance from the creature's rear! (i.e. it is "attached" to something much larger! )
