Small reddish brown beetle requires ID please
S. Devon, near the Coast Path.



I'm thinking about Chrysomelidae family but all of my first thoughts have gradually disintegrated - as usual!

So does anybody recognise it?

After continuing searching, could Lochmaea crataegi be possible?

Thanks for the confirmation.

The Commanster site gave me that idea which I was able to use for the more complex Koleopterologie site. There is a lot of information on beetles there but I find you need to be fairly close to an ID otherwise the site is a bit daunting.
