I think this is either Nephrotoma quadrifaria or Spotted Cranefly (N. appendiculata)

Neither I'm afraid, its some sort of tipula, good shot though.

This is neither a Nephrotoma or Tipula lateralis. The colours are a bit strange but Iam almost certain it is a Tipula (Lunatipula) vernalis female.
