I'm not 100% on this, is this Volucella pellucens. There seems to be some slight differences to other images i've taken a look at.  |

It's a male Leucozona lucorum.

It would be useful to have the data - site name, grid ref (or postcode) date and recorder name
The Recording scheme always wants new data!
