Smile Flying (Hazelnut) beetles.
Can anyone assist in identifying these: Flying insects roughly 1" long, with six legs, bodies similar to hazelnuts both in colour and shape with white zigzag along each side and black head and shoulders with red feathery antenae?????? They have landed on my patio near Brighton much to the consternation of the females in our family.
