After seeing the Oriental Pratincole at Frampton Marsh RSPB (Lincs) myself and two other friends moved on to Lakenheath RSPB (Suffolk) to try and see the Golden Orioles. Whilst walking around the reserve I saw my first Dragon/Damselflies of the year. They were Large Red Damselfly, Azure Damselfly and Hairy Dragonfly. We also saw several Common Lizards and Grass Snakes and this Hoverfly type thing (Could any one please tell me what it is?) also eventually we got breath taking views of a male Golden Oriole.

I think it's Leucozona lucorum.

Not quite a Dragon/Damselfly but this Green Hairstreak was a lifer for me today

Haven't been out for a while now to much course work  but today while working at Holme NWT I saw some Blue Tailed Damselflies and a Four spot chaser. |

After looking at some Bird's Nest Orchids I went to Holt Lows where I saw 2-3 Keeled Skimmers which was a lifer for me. | | |
