| | | id 2 hoverflies & 1 beetle Could someone id these for me please, the hoverfly photos were taken last year and the beetle one this week. All were taken on a vegetated shingle nature reserve in Suffolk |

The first is a male Marmalade Hoverfly Episyrphus balteatus, then a female Eupeodes luniger and the last is an Oil Beetle but not sure which.

which recording scheme is this? Am happy to send info, my insect id'ing skills are non existant though so I don't know if I'll be of any help. Whenever I do manage to photo any critters I will be putting them up here to get id's of them for our own records on the Nature Reserve so sending info on will be no problem |

Both the photos were taken by me on 2/08/09, grid reference TM 288 323 on Landguard Nature Reserve near Felixstowe, Suffolk |
