Anyone know what this is? It's about 4mm in length and was photographed a couple of days ago.  |

It's a species of springtail - Collembola
At a guess, either from Entomobryinae or Orchesellinae
Can't help you any further than that though.

Can`t really improve on the answer that you already have. I want to say what a cracking picture it is.
I am looking for camera to take good detailed pics of tiny specimens. Yours would do the job nicely.
What is it?

Entomobrya multifasciata, but I think it would be less than 4mm.
