| | | Lacewing larva (Trash Bug) Stony Stratford, Bucks. On fence beneath mixed broadleaf trees close to large pond.
Any members who've not come across these before might be interested in these earlier post of mine:
Jan 2007 - Unidentified insect with camouflage pack on back
Aug 2008 - Lacewing larva - minus camouflage pack (almost)
We don't seem to have a common name for these interesting insect larvae, however our more imaginative American cousins have come up with the very appropriate name "Trash Bugs"  .
Anyway, I'm hoping someone might have an id for this particular larva:
