I'm very impressed. Can you tell me anything more - I can't find it on Diptera.info, nor does a Google search turn up anything helpful. Records seem to be very scarce on the NBN map.

I've done a proper check and am pretty sure it's Polyblepharis opaca.
It is not particulary common, but perhaps a little more so in the north.
