Centipede help

Found in the South west under a decaying piece of bark (on the ground). Approx 30mm in length. Many pics I have found class it generally as a 'Brown Centipede' , any help on species would be great

might be Lithobius forficatus, which have 15 pairs of legs

Hi Ladyhawk. I checked out your suggestion. Apparently L.forficatus is extremely similar to L.variegatus. The difference being their behaviour when found and that the latter has banding to its legs. On closer examination I found mine did have the banding and is therefore more likely to be the latter. Thanks for the help in getting me to a final ID
