Unknown bee ID
Don't think I've seen one of these before- about the size of a honey bee - taken today feeding on Euphorbia flowers - a fairly metallic finish on the head and abdomen.
Any ideas ?

I think this is a Sawfly rather than a bee. Clubbed antennae are unknown in British Bees

That might explain why I hadn't seen this bee before

It was doing a very good impression of a bee honestly
