Stony Stratford, Bucks. On fence beneath mixed broadleaf close to large pond.
Help with identification appreciated.

Biker John - Thanks for your encouraging comments. I used a Nikon D300 with 105mm Macro VR lens. ISO200, manual exposure 1/250 sec at f/16, pop-up flash (under manual control).

I honestly don't know... I'm wondering if it might be Psudoloxops or Agnocoris, but we're going to have to wait for an adult, I'm afraid. It's just not a nymph I've seen before, or seen pictures of.  |

Joe - I'll keep my eyes peeled .
John - The Nikon D300 is a great camera and I really like the 105mm VR Macro lens too. However you don't have to spend that much to do this type of close-up imaging. For example a Nikon D3000 (or Canon equivalent) with Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro should be capable of very similar results.
