ID pls for blackish bee-ish

This in the garden yesterday and today - I think a female bee, but perhaps a look-alike. All black, but faint stripes on abdomen, and what look like yellow hairs on fore and middle legs as well as pollen basket/hind legs. Sizewise about 15-20mm. Rather fast-moving so no very good shots, but here are a couple of different angles. Any help much appreciated.

Your blackish beeish ish... I'll stop now , an Anthophora sp. - and a girl, so correct.

Now, technically you need to see the colour of the hind tibial spine to seperate it from Anthophora retusa as that's a nice Southern species, but no doubt Stuart is better placed to advise on that likelihood!

It's probably Anthophora plumipes.

Evening Jason! Thank you for that! And I've been through all the pics looking for hind legs, albeit without knowing quite where the hind tibial spine resides! Am I allowed to add two more pics at this stage I wonder? Praps I'll risk it. ATB, Dill
