why dont they stick??
hi
ive benn thinking/ searching for the answer for a while...
how is it that spiders dont stick to thier own webs????

Spiders make their webs with two types of thread (silk?), one sticky and the other non-sticky. So when they need to walk on the web they use the non-sticky threads to walk on. I have a feeling (no more than that) that other spiders can tell the difference between the threads of a particular spider.

Presumably although I think they can survive with fewer than 8 legs.
