IDs please? I think one is a hoverfly.

Afternoon Hed,

Your first is an Eristalis sp. Next up is an Anthomyiidae member - it looks like Anthomyia pluvialis or similar. The third looks like, I say looks, like a Hoverfly Melanostoma sp. though I'd like another image to be more certain, and the last is a bee - though I wouldn't like to try personally, a lot seem very similar!

The bee is a male Osmia rufa, the Red Mason Bee

Thank you! The little hoverfly was one of many on my yellow archangel flowers, not easy to catch one resting as they seem to sense movement so quickly. Lots of the red bees about too.
