I.D of very unusual fly/bee please.
Hi Guys

I have seen this in my garden for the last four days and have finally managed to get a photo. The photos aren't the best but I'm dying to know what it is. It doesn't hang around for long once it knows I'm there.



I would really appreciate a name for him. I have never seen these before.

I mistook this little chap as a Hummingbird Hawk moth last year, but I now know this is in fact a beautiful Bee fly, it has a non beautiful name, but is quite beautiful...
