Anybody know the species of spider that i found in garden

Evening Ladyhawk,

It's a Wolf Spider, Lycosidae family. I don't instantly recognise it - is this from the UK?

Well i stay in the highlands of inverness, Scotland found in my back garden 3 days ago

Have a look at this thread: Textrix denticulata

This may be yours too - the long spinners look about right too.

It's from the Agelenidae family, though very Lycosid-looking!

Yup - the eyes are very Lycosid-like, but it is an Agelenid Textrix denticulata. It's the huge spinners that give this one away.

Much more colourful than my specimen - maybe mine was a sub-adult? Could just be variation in colour though.
