Small bluebottle
From ramson leaves today. WL 7mm. Not as big as a calliphorid and vein 4 doesn't bend quite so sharply. I've had a go at keying it out and think it could be Melinda gentilis. Can anyone confirm this please.

diptera.info is a good place to get fly IDs

shouldn't have a problem with a nice ID shot like that one.

I've since posted it on Dipterists Forum. It's definately a Melinda, probably M.viridcyanea.
